June 10 2007The XI St. Petersburg economy forum, which took place on June 8-10 of this year, has beat all the records – budget-wise, as well as by the level of representation, and by the number of statements important for Russia, and by the figure of signed agreements and contracts. The level of participants, as always, was quite high. The big business at the forum has been represented by companies of various sectors: Transneft, Gazprom, LUKOIL, Rusal, ВР, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Volvo Trucks, Norilsky Nikel, PepsiCo, AFK Sistem and many others. Stroimontage and Mirax Group have taken a note-worthy showcase in the fifth pavilion of Lenexpo.
The mowscovites have presented on the forum their chief projects – the Federation tower and business center Mirax Plaza, and Stroimontage has presented its Montblanc. Naturally, there were no discussions of sales of apartments or offices: the participation in the economic forum for a company is above all, an image building. The neighborhood of the leading Russian and foreign companies, and familiarization with the key state figures – are they not the best advertisement available? The most famous visitor of our showcase has become the Vice Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev. Overall, over 9 thousand visitors came to see the Lenexpo exhibits.
